What a great post! Istanbul is one of the most magical places on Earth, I will definitely never forget my time there. I loved how you explained your emotions and the affect hearing the Muslim call to prayer had on you. It’s truly a beautiful sound. Your post made me nostalgic for the Middle East and Turkey! Thank you for the like! I love your pictures here. During a flight once we stopped off in Istanbul for re-fuelling but we weren’t allowed off the plane, so these pictures make me definitely want to return and see more than just the Istanbul Airport tarmac!

You are so lucky because Haydarpasa Railway Station was closed. You were the one who sees it for the last time. I think it will open again after 2 years but I’m not sure.

went there when i was 18 (back in 2003!), and loved every minute of it! i hope you do get a chance to travel east, cappadocia is breath-taking!
I live in Istanbul and I pass the bridge twice a week. Be sure that every time, it feels great to have that view! I I am happy that you liked my city. I also loved your photos 🙂
